Dr. William K. Baxley was born and raised in Beaumont, TX. He graduated from Forest Park High School before attending Lamar University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology. He was accepted to the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, earning his dental degree in June 1982. Dr. Baxley returned to Beaumont and maintained his dedicated practice here for over 42 years. Following more than four decades of exemplary patient care, Dr. Baxley officially retired from clinical practice. 

Dr. Baxley is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD)—a prestigious honor earned after completing over 1,500 hours of approved continuing education and passing a comprehensive examination. Fewer than 2,000 dentists in AGD history have received this distinction.

Dr. Baxley is married to Rena, his bride of over 35 years, and they remain active members of the Westgate Church of Christ.

Continuing a Tradition of Care

While Dr. Baxley has stepped into a well-deserved retirement, the tradition of compassionate, high-quality family dentistry he built continues at Beaumont Dental Care under the clinical leadership of Dr. Titus Son, DDS. Dr. Baxley’s family and existing patients remain an integral part of our practice family.
